CHARLIE'S STROMBOLI | |
1 can French bread, refrigerated 1 pkg. pepperoni Pizza sauce 1 pkg. Canadian bacon 12 oz. mozzarella &/or provolone 1 bell pepper, chopped Unroll bread dough onto greased jelly roll pan. Use paper towels to remove the grease from the pepperoni by patting the pepperoni dry. Cut the Canadian bacon into bite-sized pieces. Layer the pepperoni, Canadian bacon, peppers and any other vegetable you desire onto 1/2 of the dough. Cover with cheese; some of the cheese can be used for the layers. Fold the other half of the dough onto the top of the cheese and press the edges firmly to seal. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve with heated pizza sauce. Serves 6. |
