BRANDON'S MOLASSES COOKIES | |
3/4 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add molasses and remaining dry ingredients, continue to run mixer. When completely mixed dough will be soft. Turn out of bowl and wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough in walnut-size balls. Roll in granulated sugar to coat. Space 2 inches apart on well greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cookies set a minute before removing from pan to cool. |
