TURKEY MEAT LOAF | |
1 egg 1/4 c. ketchup 2 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 1/2 c. (6 slices) soft bread crumbs 1 c. boiling water 2 lbs. ground turkey 2 beef bouillon cubes (low sodium) 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar-Swiss cheese combination 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/2 c. celery, chopped Beat egg lightly in large bowl. Add ketchup, mustard, basil, thyme, and pepper and mix thoroughly. Add bread crumbs. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water and add to mixture. Let cool. Stir in cheese, celery, and onion. Break up ground turkey and add to bowl. Mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into loaf and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 12. |
