NO-COOK MINTS 
4 tbsp. softened butter (real)
1/3 c. light Karo syrup
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 tsp. salt
4 3/4 c. powdered sugar (1 lb.)
1 drop each of red and green food coloring

Blend first 4 ingredients. Add sugar. Mix by spoon then by hands until smooth. Divide into thirds. Color 1/3 red, 1/3 green, leave 1 white. Shape into balls, flatten with fork on wax paper. Allow several hours to dry. Makes 6 dozen.
