RELISH WITHOUT COOKING 
8 green tomatoes, med. size
8 red apples with peeling
8 sweet peppers
8 onions, med. size
4 tbsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
3 c. sugar

Grind tomatoes, apples, peppers and onions together. Add salt. Let set 30 minutes; squeeze out juice; then add vinegar, water and sugar. Mix well. Put in jars and seal. I freeze mine.
