BRANDIED FRUIT 
You must never let the content of this jar get below 3 cups or the fermentation will stop. Every 2 weeks add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup drained canned fruit, in this order: Sliced peaches, cut in half Maraschino cherries, cut in half

Do not add any more often than 2 weeks, but you may delay adding a day or 2 without disastrous results. Keep a calendar marked so you will not forget.

BRANDIED FRUIT CAKE:

1 c. butter
3 c. flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. brandied fruit
2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Then add remaining ingredients and blend together. Pour into well greased, floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
