GERMAN PANCAKES 
1 1/2 to 2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 eggs, separated
1 tsp. baking powder

Sift together flour and baking powder. Beat egg yolks; gradually add milk, taking care the eggs don't lump. Add egg-milk mixture to flour; beat egg whites until fluffy. Add to batter.

Grease hot frying pan with butter. Add some butter; spread it around bottom of pan. Turn when brown. Add butter with brush if necessary. Makes 15-20. Keep warm in oven until ready to serve.
