BUTTERNUT CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 c. self rising flour
2 c. plain flour
1 c. sweet milk

Cream Crisco, sugar and butter. Then add 1 egg at a time and mix well. Add vanilla and butternut flavoring. Mix 1 cup self rising flour, 1/2 cup milk, then add plain flour and the remaining milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour without opening oven.
