COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. commercial sour cream

B: TOPPING:

6 tbsp. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
10 inch tube pan

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla. Add eggs, beating after each. Mix dry ingredients and add with sour cream. Spread half the batter in greased tube pan lined with wax paper.

Mix topping. Sprinkle half of topping on batter. Then add the rest of batter and rest of topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
