BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
2 tsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 3 c. milk 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/8 tsp. onion powder 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 5 c. cooked elbow macaroni Heat butter until melted, add flour, mustard, salt, onion powder, and pepper. Cook until bubbly, about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thick, 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in 1 cup cheese until melted. Pour in 2-quart dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
