MAMA'S POTATO SOUP 
12 potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 pkg. peas, thawed & warmed
1 onion (Bermuda), sliced & sauteed
1/2 gallon milk
Flour
1 tsp. butter
Salt, pepper & curry
4 slices bacon, fried crisp & crumbled

Boil potatoes in water to cover and add seasonings. Drain. Add peas and onions. Add milk and bring to a simmer. Mix flour with a small amount of milk and stir into thicken to taste. Dot the surface with butter and serve with crumbled bacon (optional). This soup is best when aged one day before serving.
