TERIYAKI STEAK 
2-3 lbs. London broil or flank steak
1 lg. clove garlic, mashed
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. cooking sherry

Wipe steak and place in a shallow pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate between 4-12 hours, turning at least once. Grill or broil 5-8 minutes peer side or until desired doneness. To serve, cut across grain in thin slices. 6-8 servings.
