IRISH SODA BREAD | |
4 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. raisins or currants, soak in hot water, drain and flour 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 bottle Guinnis' stout Sift dry ingredients; add raisins. Add stout and eggs. Mix to form ball. Knead for a few minutes. Bake at 350 degrees in greased pans until done. Makes 2 loaves. |
