THE SCHLUETER PEACH PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. tapioca
2 tbsp. lemon juice
12-15 peaches, peeled and sliced

Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with pastry. Use an amount for 2 crust pie and bring up sides. Mix these four ingredients and let stand 15 minutes. Then pour into pastry-lined pan. 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans; optional

Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle crumbs over top of pie. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
