HAM - CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE | |
Med. head cauliflower 2 c. cubed ham 4 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. milk 1 c. cubed sharp American cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 c. soft bread crumbs, combined with melted butter Break cauliflower into buds (about 4 cups). Cook, covered, in boiling water until tender. Drain. In medium saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons butter; stir in flour. Add milk, all at once. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add cheese and sour cream to sauce. Stir until cheese melts. In 2 quart casserole, combine sauce with ham and cauliflower. Top with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
