LENTIL SOUP 
2 c. lentil beans
7 c. water
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. sliced carrot
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp.+ garlic powder
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. canned tomatoes (1-15 oz. can) (more tomatoes are fine)
1/2 - 1 lb. ham seasoning
1 tsp. oregano
3 tbsp. wine vinegar
(May need a little salt)

Rinse lentils, drain. Place in large saucepan and add other ingredients. Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours.
