1 stick butter 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped pitted dates 2/3 c. sugar 1 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies Powdered sugar Combine butter, dates, and sugar in a large pan. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat until dates are dissolved and mixture is fairly smooth, stirring frequently. Stir in nuts and Rice Krispies. Roll into small balls. COOL. Then roll or shake in powdered sugar. Makes about 50. |
