IMPERIAL CHICKEN WITH CUMBERLAND SAUCE | |
Assorted chicken parts Good Seasons Italian dressing (bottled) Seasoned bread crumbs Dip chicken into dressing then cover with bread crumbs. Put on roasting tray. Put into 400 degree oven uncovered for 40 minutes. CUMBERLAND SAUCE: 1 c. red currant jelly 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, defrosted 4 tbsp. sherry 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/8 tsp. ginger 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce (Tabasco) Combine all ingredients and simmer until smooth. Serve with chicken. |
