POTATO ONION PIE 
1 frozen 9 inch deep dish shell
1 med. onion, chopped in 1/4 inch pieces
4 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 c. seasoned crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Precook pie shell 5 minutes in a 400 degree oven. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add onions and potatoes and cook stirring frequently until potatoes are barely tender. Transfer mixture to pie shell, sprinkle with cheese. Beat eggs with milk, season to taste. Pour over ingredients in pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees, reduce heat to 350 degrees for 40 minutes longer. Let stand 15 minutes.
