SPINACH BALLS | |
2 pkgs. fresh or frozen chopped spinach 1 lg. onion, chopped fine 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix 6 eggs, well beaten 3/4 c. butter 1 tbsp. coarse ground black pepper 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 lb. cooked, drained, crumbled sausage (optional) Cook spinach according to directions. Drain and squeeze dry. Mix all above ingredients and roll in small balls. Put on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Can be frozen and reheated in microwave. |
