FROZEN STRAWBERRY SQUARES 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. brown sugar

This is the crust and topping mix. 1 c. granulated sugar 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, brown sugar, nuts and butter. Spread evenly in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring once one half way through and patting down again. Then sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs in a 9"x13"x2" pan.

Combine egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice in a large bowl; beat at high speed to stiff peaks, about 10 minutes. Fold in whipped whipping cream with 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup powdered sugar added. Spoon over crumbs and top with remaining crumbs. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Serves 12.
