APPLESAUCE 
1 apple per person, quartered & cored
1/2 c. water or apple juice
Cinnamon, honey, nutmeg, brown sugar or cinnamon sugar

Place juice or water in bottom of saucepan. Add apples. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. Mash with a potato masher until smooth. Season with above seasonings.
