LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 onion, sliced in rings
4 boiled eggs
1 pkg. frozen or can English peas (drained)
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. cheese, grated
Bacon Bits

Save enough cheese to cover top.

In deep container layer lettuce, onion, egg, English peas, cheese. Repeat until ingredients are used up. End with lettuce. Mix mayonnaise and sugar. Spread on top. Cover with cheese. Cover this with bacon bits. Better if chilled overnight.
