MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE | |
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 stick butter (softened at room temp.) 1/2 c. flour 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese Lg. container Cool Whip 1 c. powdered sugar 1 lg. box chocolate pudding (not instant) 1 lg. Hershey bar Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix together pecans, butter and flour. Press on bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish to form first layer. Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool. 2ND LAYER: Mix cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Pour over 1st layer. 3RD LAYER: Cook chocolate pudding and spread on top of previous layer. Cool. 4TH LAYER: Spread remainder of Cool Whip. 5TH LAYER: Grate chocolate candy (Hershey bar) for trim. Keep refrigerated. |
