COUNTRY BURGER - HOT DOG SAUCE | |
This is one of those recipes that have been changed up but still handed down by generations. Great for burgers' - hot dogs, etc., spicy but not over the top. 1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tbsp. allspice 1/2 tbsp. cayenne powder (more or less, to taste) 1 tsp. onion salt 1 tsp. garlic salt Put ground beef in a medium saucepan: Add water to cover the meat. Add remaining ingredients - bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat: Simmer for about one hour - stirring occasionally to make sure meat breaks up. Makes 3 cups and is enough for at least 12 servings. Submitted by: Phyllis Chittum |
