6 hard (pineapple) pears, sliced thin (should equal 5 c.) 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 sm. can crushed pineapple with juice 4 tbsp. flour 4 tbsp. minute tapioca 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. raisins butter Mix all together in microwaveable bowl. Micro on high 2 1/2 minutes. Stir. Micro 2 1/2 minutes more. Empty into uncooked pie shell. Dot with butter. Put on top crust. Cut vents in top crust. Brush with milk or cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. |
