AUNT FANNY'S BAKED SQUASH 
3 lb. yellow summer squash
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Salt and pepper may be increased for personal taste.

Boil squash until tender; drain and mash. Add all ingredients to squash except half of the butter. Pour mixture in baking dish, melt remaining butter and pour over mixture. Sprinkle with crackers or bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately one hour or until brown.
