2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. applesauce
6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add applesauce. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to applesauce mixture. Add raisins, chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
