HOT PEPPER JELLY 
3/4 c. green peppers, ground
1/4 c. ground pods of hot peppers, green color preferred
6 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
Few drops green food coloring
1 (6 oz.) bottle liquid pectin
8 sterilized 1/2 pt. jars
Melted paraffin for sealing

Mix sugar and vinegar in a saucepan. Add peppers and food coloring and bring to a boil. Turn off unit and let mixture cool for 5 minutes. Add pectin, stirring while adding. Strain and pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Cover with melted paraffin to seal. Note: Very good with meat or cheese.
