FREEZER PICKLES 
4 c. sliced pickles or cucumbers, packed
2 c. onions, packed
4 tsp. table salt
2 tbsp. water
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. dill seed or dill

Put sliced cucumbers, onions, salt and water in a 2 quart bowl and mix. Let stand for 2 hours. Drain, but do not rinse. Add sugar, vinegar and dill. Let stand, stirring from time to time until sugar has dissolved completely and liquid covers cucumbers. Pack in plastic containers and seal tightly. You can also put in ziploc bags and freeze. Defrost before serving.
