CINNAMON TOAST CAKE 
8 tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift dry ingredients 3 times (sugar, flour, and baking powder). Stir butter until soft; add eggs and blend in vanilla. Add 1/3 dry ingredients and 1/2 milk. Mix well. Alternately add rest of dry ingredients and milk. Pour into a long greased and floured Pyrex dish. Mix together Topping of brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cake batter. Bake at 325 degrees until toothpick comes out clean.
