FRENCH CUSTARD 
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar

Mix sugar, salt, and eggs. Add vanilla. Mix flour and egg mixture with milk, a little at a time, blending well. Butter will a glass 9 1/2 inch round pie pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 20 minutes more. Makes its own crust.

OPTIONAL: You may add a handful of coconut flakes on top before baking.
