SWEDISH ALMOND TOAST | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 2 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. almond extract 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 4 c. flour 1/2 c. ground almonds Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, sour cream, almond extract, ground almonds and dry ingredients. Bake in 3 greased and floured loaf pans for 50 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool. Slice thin and return to oven for 1 hour at 250 degrees on cookie sheets. |
