TOASTED ALMOND COMPANY SALAD 
1 sm. head lettuce
1 c. celery, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

DRESSING:

1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

In heavy saucepan heat and stir 4 ounces slivered almonds and 2 tablespoons sugar until almonds are coated and sugar disappears. Top salad with almonds and pour dressing over top.
