RHUBARB PUDDING | |
6 slices bread, toasted 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded 1/4 c. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 5 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 3 c. rhubarb, diced Cut toast into 1 inch pieces. Put in a 2 quart baking dish. Pour scalded milk over toast cubes. Let stand for 15 minutes. Combine ingredients. Mix with toast mixture. Sprinkle with additional brown sugar. Bake at 300 degrees for 45-60 minutes. |
