RICE CASSEROLE 
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme, undiluted
1 (10 1/2 oz.) French onion soup, undiluted
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. uncooked long-grain rice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped cashews
1 tbsp. butter

Combine first 4 ingredients in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2 inch dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed. Saute onion, raisins, and cashews in 1 tablespoon butter until onion tender. Sprinkle over cooked rice mixture. Serves 6.
