PARTY MEAT BALLS | |
6 lb. hamburger 2 (23 oz.) bottles Hunt's Bar-B-Q Sauce 2 (15 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce 2 tbsp. dehydrated minced onions Salt, pepper, garlic powder Form hamburger into balls. Fry meat balls until completely done - season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I use an electric skillet). Drain off excess grease on paper towels and place meat balls in a large pan. Mix barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, and onions. Pour sauce mixture over meat balls and stir. Place in oven, electric skillet or crock pot and heat at low temperature a couple of hours to allow barbecue flavor to penetrate meat balls. NOTE: I often make the meat balls several days in advance and freeze after step 5. When I'm ready to serve them, I thaw then and proceed to step 6. This seems to make them taste even better. |
