MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Mrs. Butterworth's syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 qt. popped popcorn
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Mix first 4 ingredients; microwave 2 minutes. Stir real well. Microwave again for 3 minutes, stirring every minute. Add baking soda. Put popcorn in paper sack and pour mixture over popcorn and shake up real well. Put in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, shake real well and cook another 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and spread out on wax paper and let cool. OPTIONAL: Honey roasted peanuts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
