MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
4 qt. popped popcorn
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Place popped corn in large brown bag. Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in 2 quart glass bowl. Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in baking soda. Pour mixture over popped corn. Close and shake well or stir well and then close. microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes; stir well. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes more. Stir well and pour caramelized corn in large container. Cool and stir to separate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
