LEMON SPONGE PIE | |
3 tbsp. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 lemon (rind and juice) 3 tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 9 inch pie crust Cream butter. Add sugar, egg yolks, lemon, flour and salt. Mix well. Stir in milk, then stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 1 (9 inch) pie. |
