BUTTERMILK CHESS PIE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell

Cream butter and sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt, eggs, and vanilla; beat well. Stir in buttermilk. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack.
