SOFT SOUR CREAM DATE NUT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. chopped dates

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients. Add nuts and dates; mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350-375 degrees for 10 minutes. Batter may be refrigerated for 1 week.
