"SPOON BREAD" 
3 c. sweet milk
3 eggs
1 scant cup of corn meal
Butter the size of a walnut
3 level tsp. baking powder
1 level tsp. salt

Stir corn meal into 2 cups of milk and let mixture come to a boil, making a mush. Add balance of milk and add well beaten eggs. Stir in salt, baking powder and melted butter. Bake 30 minutes in oven at 350 degrees.
