MAPLE - WALNUT SOUR CREAM COFFEE
CAKE
 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. maple syrup
4 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 lb. (16 oz.) sour cream
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar

Cream 1 cup sugar, maple syrup, and butter; add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients, then sour cream and vanilla. In separate bowl mix 1 cup nuts, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1/2 of mix to batter - 1/2 goes on top. Grease oblong pan (13x9). Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
