MEATBALL STEW 
1 (2 3/4 oz.) pkg. dried onion soup mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing mix
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb. ground chuck or 1 1/2 lbs. chuck & 1/2 lb. ground pork
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
1 egg

Measure 2 tablespoons onion soup mix into a large bowl. Stir in 1/3 cup stuffing mix, 1 egg and 1/4 cup water. Pour remaining soup mix into a Dutch oven. Add canned tomatoes, frozen mixed vegetables and 1 cup of water; bring to a boil. Add ground meat to stuffing mixture and mix wuntil well blended. Shape into about 2 dozen meatballs. Drop into boiling tomato mixture; cover and let boil gently, stirring occasionally 20 to 30 minutes.
