OVEN MEATBALL STEW 
3 lg. potatoes
4 carrots
10 sm. onions
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. onion
2 tbsp. green pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. fat
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. tomato juice

Cut up potatoes, carrots and onion and place in a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix the ground beef, onion, green pepper, mustard, chili powder, cornmeal, milk and egg and shape into meatballs. Brown and place on vegetables in casserole dish. Blend fat and flour and brown in skillet; gradually add tomato juice. Pour this over the meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes and carrots are done. Any other vegetables you want can be used.
