SAVORY MEATBALL STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. basil
Dash pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. water
1 can sliced carrots, drained
1 can whole sm. white onions, drained
1 can French-style green beans
Potatoes (4 med.), diced and cooked

Combine ground beef, salt, Worcestershire sauce, basil and pepper. Shape into 1 inch meatballs and brown in a large saucepan or skillet. Pour off drippings. Add soup and water, simmer for 15 minutes. Add the vegetables and heat thoroughly.

Note: Rather than using the canned carrots and onions, I add raw sliced carrots and a small diced onion to the potatoes and let them cook together. If using raw carrots and onions, cook first before making meatballs.
