CHICKEN OR TURKEY CRESCENT
ALMONDINE
 
3 c. cooked chicken or turkey
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained & sliced
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & sliced
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2/3 c. salad dressing
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
2 (8 oz.) cans buttermilk biscuits or baking powder biscuits
2/3 c. Swiss or Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. almonds, slivered

Combine meat, soup, mushrooms, chestnuts, celery, onion, salad dressing and sour cream. Cook over medium heat until hot. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Separate rolls. Place on hot mixture. Sprinkle cheese and almonds over biscuits. Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes or until buns are golden brown.
