2 aspirins
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. mace

Preheat oven to 375 degrees, turn down TV, measure flour, answer telephone, separate eggs. Go look for grandkids, cream butter and sugar, get kids hands out of the flour, hunt for husbands hat. Grease pan, answer door, get rid of salesman, return pan filled with salt. Hug kids, call bakery. Take 2 aspirins.
