AMMONIA COOKIES 
1 oz. Baker's ammonia, ground
1/4 oz. lemon oil
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sweet milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and lemon oil. Add ammonia. Add enough all-purpose flour to thicken, real good, about 5-6 cups.

Roll out on powdered board 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter or tea cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Dough should be pretty thick. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
